For our plant in Magocs (Hungary), we are looking for a Production Manager (m/f) to establish, coordinate, and sustainably optimize our production processes.

This position is of outstanding importance and comes with an above-average performance-related remuneration.

Your Key Responsibilities

• · Establish, manage, and continuously improve a structured production planning process for all manufacturing areas
• · Ensure a coordinated production flow to increase productivity
• · Optimize production flow both on the level of individual workstations and across the entire plant
• · Close cooperation with Quality Management (QM) and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure compliance with standards
• · Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track production performance
• · Prepare capacity and resource planning (materials, machinery, personnel)
• · Training and development management: build training systems, implement standards, and ensure continuous staff development
• · Bottleneck management: analyze delays, identify root causes, define corrective measures, and enforce implementation
• · Ensure compliance with delivery deadlines, production targets, and budget requirements
• · Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to secure material and supply chains
• · Implement lean manufacturing methods and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
• · Build up a clear reporting structure for senior management
• · Lead, motivate, and further develop production staff while ensuring discipline and structured workflows
• · Risk management: identify deviations at an early stage and define countermeasures
• · Apply technical understanding of machinery, tools, and processes while coordinating interfaces with maintenance

Your Profile:

• · Several years of professional experience in a comparable position (Production Manager / Manufacturing Supervisor / Plant Manager), ideally in an industrial environment
• · Solid knowledge in production planning, manufacturing organization, and lean management
• · Proven track record in implementing and monitoring KPIs
• · Excellent command of English (written and spoken); German language skills are an advantage
• · Strong leadership skills, high level of self-motivation, and ability to establish and enforce clear structures
• · Resilience, pragmatism, and solution-oriented mindset when facing complications
• · Strong communication skills with the ability to deal confidently with employees at all levels
• · Willingness to go beyond a classic “9-to-5 job”: This role requires flexibility, initiative, and the will to build and shape structures – candidates seeking only fixed working hours and routine processes will not be the right fit.
